Preserve your wood 1 time every 7 years instead of every 2. This amazing product is an acrylate resin blend that is designed to be cured by sunlight. It contains more wood-protecting resins without solvents, water, or waxes that sit on the wood's surface and wash away. The low odor formula rejuvenates old decks to a fresh new finish. Use on wood decks, wood fences, wood yard furniture, wood siding, log homes, wood docks, or boat decks. One Time cannot be mixed with other products; completely remove and clean wood surface before applying this product. Covers approximately 400 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth new wood or up to 300 sq. ft. per gallon on older porous wood. Cures with sunlight in approximately 3 to 48 hours on a sunny day. Refer to model No. 12001 stain and sealer remover. longevity of stain

This has been a great product. I have had it on my deck for three years on new pressure treated wood. While it is a little lighter in appearance it has held up very well. Even where I put it on too thick, I put it on with a large (16") applicator as my deck is huge, there is no sign of a paint-like shine which, like other opaque stains, will require eventually scraping. This product seeped into the wood without residue yet has been very long-lived. I have done about 15 hours of research into stains, including Consumer Reports which sadly has not tested the darker colors of this product, and this is the only long lived product that will not build up a shine that will require scraping after repeated applications. Down side is that it smells for the first couple weeks. Apply when you have a couple weeks of good warm weather. Good prep is also important for any paint/stain, of course.
